Data Processing

Data processing is the conversion of raw data into useful and usable form.This conversion or processing is carried out using a pre-defined sequence of operation which could be manual or automatic, most of the data processing is done by using a computer.
Data processing Stages
These are the stages in data processing:
1.Data collection
2.Input stage
3.Processing stage
4.Storage stage
5.Output stage.

1. Data collection: The first stage of the cycle is collecting the data that is very important because the quality of data collected will affect the overall output. The collected data must be accurate and meaningful.
2. Input stage:This step is defined as the task of coding and converting the verified data into the machine readable form so that it can be processed.
